Down the Rabbit Hole その4
前回の文の続きです。

There was nothing so very remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so very much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to itself “Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!” (when she thought it over afterwards, it occurred to her that she ought to have wondered at this, but at the time it all seemed quite natural); but when the Rabbit actually took a watch out of its waistcoat-pocket, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and, burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.
but when the Rabbit actually took a watch out of its waistcoat-pocket, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet,
でも（そのとき）、ウサギがベストのポケットから時計を取り出し、それを見て、そしてまた急いで走り出したとき、、、

それを見たとき、
Alice started to her feet,
to one's feet という言い方で、立ち上がるという意味があります。
jumped to her feet
だったら、飛び上がるように立ち上がったのだし、
got to her feet
だったら、立ち上がるというポジションに体勢を変えたということ、つまり日本語で言えば単純に、立ち上がった、ということ、などなど、いろいろ表現は変えることが出来ます。
on her feet
だったら、立ち上がっている状態ですね。
started to her feet だから、今まで座っていたのが、立つ体制に start した、ってことですね。
ウサギが時計をポケットから出して見て、また急いでいくのを見て、（それをもっとよく見ようと後を追うために）思わず立ち上がってしまったのでしょうね。
for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it,
この for は、以前にも出てきましたね。理由をいう for です。
これこれの理由で、というように続きます。
あたまにパッとひらめいたのですね。
ベストを着たウサギなんて見たこともなければ、そのポケットから時計を取り出すなんてのも見たことがない、ということを。

burning with curiosity 興味津々で燃えている！
she ran across the field after it,
野原を突っ切ってウサギを追いかけていきました。
and was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.
was just in time
in time ちょうど間に合った、ということ。
何に間に合ったのかというと、
to see 見ることに、ね
何を見ることに、というと、
it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.
it ウサギ、が
pop ひょいっと
down a large rabbit-hole 大きなウサギの穴に入っていくところを
ウサギの穴はどこにあるかというと、
under the hedge 生垣の下
やっと一文が終わりました。
さて、ウサギが穴に入ったところを見た Alice 、いよいよ・・・
