I had my port put in a larger vein under the collarbone.
I planned this surgery because the veins in my forearms were no longer capable and also the port enables me to take more nutrients.
The surgery itself was easy and quick, like a wisdom tooth extraction. I had pain when I got twilight sleep but that was it.
It still hurts a bit but it will become my good friend soon.
I can use this port even at home, which makes me feel safe about going back home.
Ready with a home oxygen inhaler!
Ready with a hospital bed too!
Home-care is also ready!
Then! When can I get out of here.
I so miss my home.
