I went to the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park with my husband.

I was very looking foward to see the redwoods so it was very intrerested!

It took about one hour from my house to the park.

My husband drove the car.

I have only international driver risence.

I don't have California driver risence yet.

I didn't need to drive a car in Japan, because there were many trains especcialy in Tokyo.

We arrived the park about 11 pm.

At first, we went to the gift shop.

I found the nice stuffed squirrel and bought it.

I took a picture of it  put on forest.

Just like this.

It looked like Chobi, so I liked it.

My husband gave her a name. It is "Henry".
(or "My husband gave her the name "Henry". )

We walked the trekking route with Henry.

I sometimes took a picture of Henry on the forest.

People looked at it said "Look! There is a squirrel! "

It was so fun.

There are a lot of redwoods.

They were very very taaaaaaall !!!

I've never seen that like tall trees.

Redwoods were so tall and so straight and they had many small pine corns!

The words "Redwoods are very tall but them pine corns are so small" said by Lisa was true !!

There were many kinds of pine corns in the visiter center.

There were some stuffed animals.

I saw a stuffed coyote. It a little looks like fox, I thought.

I found a  banana slug on the fallen tree, while I was walking on forest.

My husband was glad, because it was so rare for us.

But I felt gross. I didn't like it.

A few redwoods had holes on their roots.

And We could be in the holes.

There were dark and cool.

Some of one could be 5 peoples! It was so large hole!

And I saw some squirrels.

It looks a little more bigger than Chobi.

I saw many many redwoods.

It was so interested !

And then, I went to home, I put Henly on near the window.

I gave an acorn for Henly's hands, so Chobi looked at Henly throw the window.

They looks like friends!
